As a Research Director, Jacob designs, manages and presents consumer and B2B studies that inform business strategy in the healthcare, oil & gas, and transportation industries. He works closely with clients to ensure that research yields actionable findings that drive business results.
Jacob came to Gelb in 2011 with fourteen years of experience in brand building, marketing strategy, innovation and new product development. He has managed projects as diverse as modeling price points for a portfolio of motor oils (Pennzoil, Quaker State, and Shell), developing new snack foods (Cheetos brand), repositioning a classic beverage brand (Snapple), optimizing the menu for a national chain of casual restaurants (Chili’s), and maximizing the efficiency of retailers’ product assortments (Walmart, HEB, Costco). His professional experience includes Frito Lay, Brinker International, Dr Pepper Snapple Group, and Shell Oil Products.
