Subsea Decommissioning JIP Begins
Endeavor Management is pleased to announce the start of its Subsea Decommissioning Joint Industry Project devoted to exploring problems, defining new techniques, and identifying cost efficiency strategies for the decommissioning of offshore wells and structures. Nine companies have joined the JIP, and they will be directly involved in the development of solutions that will be shared among the participants. The companies participating in the JIP include 5 operators and 4 service companies. There are several other companies actively considering joining and more work scopes are under consideration if additional companies join.
Bruce Crager will discuss the JIP at the 8th Annual Decommissioning and Abandonment Summit in Houston on 23-25 February 2016.
