Bjorn Hals has over 28 years’ experience in the oil & gas industry specializing in Offshore, Subsea and Marine practices. He is a self-employed consultant in offshore & maritime industry in USA and Norway consulting for several mid-size companies in the US and Norway mainly to establish business connections through an established network of contacts in the offshore oil & gas sector. He worked for Oceaneering for 13 years based in Norway, USA, and the UK. Planning and execution of marine and subsea operations by remotely-operated technology has been a common denominator in a high number of his past positions. Maintenance and design of subsea infrastructure including umbilicals, risers, and flowlines (SURF) is another aspect of the offshore field integrity he has worked on. Since 2005, he has spent significant time working in West Africa. He is a Norwegian citizen.
