David Queen has over 40 years’ Shell Oil International experience and proven competency in asset integrity, materials, corrosion engineering and process safety gained from roles in front line operations, maintenance support, project design and construction engineering. Major roles in Life Extension programs for the upstream oil and gas sector including the Program Lead for Shell’s GoM deepwater Perdido, Ursa, and Mars Life Extension program as well as prior Head of Asset Integrity for the Shell / Petronas Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) JV tasked with extending the safe and commercial useful life of existing assets on and offshore Sarawak Malaysia. Can devise pragmatic strategies and explain / problem solve in a practical way for all stakeholder levels. Proven leader of multi-national and multi-discipline teams known for delivering high NPV results. Good interpersonal and coaching skills.
