Marcus has over 30 years of global drilling experience in all types of operations from low-margin onshore assets to deepwater exploration. He has proven leadership in operator, drilling contractor, and service company settings, and his balance of technical and interpersonal skills enables him to create, mentor, and sustain powerful multidisciplinary teams. Marcus has founded, built, and sold successful global oil and gas consulting and training businesses, managing staff of up to 20 employees and consultants. He is Effective in multi-discipline and multi-cultural work environments as both a leader and a team member. Marcus’s responsibilities have included Well Design and Engineering, Team Leadership and Performance, Risk Assessment, Subsea and Surface Well Control, Cost Estimates, QA/QC for Manufacturing and Inspection, and Research and Development in a variety of environments: Offshore: Conventional play types, Shallow water and Deep water, Exploratory to Brownfield – N.
