Roger Lewis has over 40 years of experience in the execution and management of numerous offshore engineering projects worldwide with construction values ranging to well over a billion dollars. He has had both direct and managerial responsibility for the design, analysis and review of fixed and compliant offshore structures, floating vessels, piers and waterfront facilities, bridges, foundations, and steel and timber buildings and structures. He has also directed a great number of preliminary design programs, feasibility studies, design evaluations, manpower and cost estimates and design proposals for a wide variety of projects. Much of his work has involved the design of structures for deep water, severe environments or remote locations such as Alaska’s Cook Inlet, the North Sea, Australia, New Zealand, China, and Africa, as well as the USA. This significant international experience has led to an appreciation for solving problems using a wide variety of approaches. Most recently he founded the software firm Online-Projects.Net where he is currently developing and marketing an integrated web-based application to facilitate the management of engineering projects. He is the author of two patents and several publications.
