Colin Johnston BS, MS, MBA

Colin Johnston has excellent knowledge and expertise in subsea operations with ability to discuss engineering and commercial aspects at the highest level between operators and service companies. He has proven ability to manage engineering and subsea well projects and operations supervision including contract negotiation through to commercial implementation; significant management and operational experience covering subsea operations, deep-water well operations and vessel operational design, construction and conversion; and is an experienced contract negotiator for both individual projects and long term client/contractor relationships covering operations and vessel commitments for national and international operations. His direct experiences include responsibility for business partnership preparation, negotiation and implementation. He has significant industry presence through conference chairmanship, regulatory input and technical presentations both private and public. Colin is well versed in budget preparation, management and P&L experience for projects and long-term contractual commitments for both individual and multi-year contracts relating to offshore operations and asset delivery. He is technically proficient in key areas of subsea well operations covering system development and patent implementation with several named patents to date.
