Sonal is a goal-oriented, energetic leader and an ambitious, adaptive team builder who is diplomatic in decision making and who optimizes workforce potential to ensure efficient operations. With over 25 years of healthcare experience, Sonal has served in numerous senior executive positions in the hospital and Ambulatory Surgery Center Administration space. She is highly knowledgeable about regulatory and operational standards as they relate to operations, finances, and business development. Sonal has developed and operated ambulatory surgery centers in multiple markets with varying ownership structures. Most recently, Sonal oversaw all operations and physician relations at First Baptist Medical Center Dallas as the Chief Executive Officer/ Chief Financial Officer. During the COVID pandemic she faced the challenges of nursing shortages, supply chain delays, and the global healthcare crisis. She began a comprehensive organ transplant program and end-of-life cancer treatment program during the nation’s elective surgery moratorium. Sonal had comprehensive decision-making responsibility for leading and executing success with a multi-disciplinary team of leaders through a comprehensive sale of the hospital. She worked extensively with legal teams, investment bankers, real estate organizations, valuation companies and private equity groups to optimize return on investment for class A owners. Prior to this time, she had a long, successful career with Tenet Healthcare, United Surgical Partners International, Parkland Specialty Health, and Baylor Scott & White Health.
