Steve Skarke is a 30-year veteran of the petrochemical manufacturing industry with vast experience in many areas including management, process engineering, design, safety, etc. He has over 20 years of management experience at all levels up to and including board of directors. Prior to joining Endeavor Management his experience with Union Carbide and Kaneka Corporation provided a strong foundation in all aspects of operations management. He held various positions have as Process Engineer, Project Engineer, Production Manager, Director of Manufacturing, Executive Vice President – Site Manager, and Board of Directors Member. Working for a global Japanese manufacturing company gave Steve experience beyond the United States in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Belgium. He is a certified professional coach, with recent focus on expanding organizational development activities as a Certified Master Facilitator of the Leadership Challenge process and a provider of Everything DiSC, the Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, and The Birkman Method. Steve is responsible for external affairs including community, industry, and government relations. Non-profit board positions include the Texas Chemical Council, East Harris County Manufacturers Association, Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership, and Association of Bayport Companies.
